01 / Describe how you want to live
Begin with the home, not a list of products. Explain what is missing from your current space and what the new home or renovation should make possible. Privacy, daylight, connection to the garden and the relationship between shared and quiet rooms are useful topics.
Choose a few priorities and explain why they matter. If a project in the ISK portfolio resonates with you, identify the particular quality you like, such as Courtyard House’s connection to outdoor space or the character retained at Mission House.
02 / Gather the information you already have
Keep the brief separate from documents that describe the site and design. Send the current drawing set and make clear whether it is an early concept or a more developed proposal. Include the names of your architect or designer and any consultants already involved.
- The site address or suburb and existing-building photographs, where relevant.
- The most recent architectural drawings, clearly identified.
- Available site and consultant information.
- Your intended timing, budget expectations and any decisions still open.
03 / Ask about the way you will work together
Discuss who you will speak with during the build and how questions about the drawings will be resolved. Ask which details need more information before the scope can be understood. A clear conversation at this stage helps everyone identify what is known and what still needs work.
At ISK, Ronny remains personally involved and maintains direct relationships with clients, architects and consultants. Our in-house carpentry team is central to the way we build, supported by specialist trades and contractors.
04 / Make the first email practical
A short introduction, the project location and a description of the proposed work are enough to open the discussion. Attach the available drawings or explain that they are still being prepared. Share your main questions rather than trying to resolve the whole project in one message.
You can email Ronny directly at info@iskconstruct.com.au or call 0404 897 122. There is no online form to complete.
