From design intent to built detail
Drawings establish the direction. Construction brings together the structure, services, materials and workmanship that allow the design to work as a whole. Our foundations in carpentry inform how we approach this coordination, from the structural frame to the final junctions and finishes.
Led by carpenter and registered builder Ronny Iskandar, ISK takes a hands-on approach. Ronny remains close to the build and maintains direct relationships with clients, architects and consultants. That continuity helps keep the conversation connected to what is happening on site.
Different homes. A consistent attention to craft.
Courtyard House in Strathmore explores privacy, light and connection through a central courtyard. Alfred House in Essendon combines clean lines and expansive glazing with an integrated basement. Arc House takes a different direction, with symmetry, arches and French-inspired detail.
These projects are useful starting points for discussing your own priorities. Rather than choosing a house from a standard collection, the conversation begins with the design, the site and the details that matter to you.
Beginning the conversation
If you are considering an architectural residence in Melbourne, send Ronny a short description of the project and any drawings already prepared. Explain what stage the design has reached so the discussion can focus on the information available.
- The site suburb and proposed type of home.
- Your architect or designer, if already appointed.
- The current drawings and any important material or spatial ideas.
- Your intended timing and the priorities you want to discuss.
