Craft is where
we begin.
Backed by over 30 years of experience, ISK Construction specialises in delivering architectural residences across Melbourne, working closely with clients, architects and designers to bring their vision to life with precision.
Our foundations are in carpentry. From complex basement construction and structural framing through to fixing, bespoke joinery and the final finishes, we understand how each element needs to come together.
Years of experience.
One considered approach.
01 / Our approach
Detail, resolved.
Great architecture relies on the execution of its details.
Led by carpenter and registered builder Ronny Iskandar, our approach combines an understanding of structure, buildability and finish. We look beyond individual elements to consider how they connect, align and flow throughout the entire home.
Intricate details, transitions and finishes are carefully considered and resolved in collaboration with architects, consultants and trades, ensuring each detail contributes to the architecture as a whole.
It’s about understanding the design intent behind the drawings and finding the right way to deliver it on site.

Always close
to the build.
ISK has deliberately remained a hands-on building company.
Ronny is personally involved in every project and regularly on site, working alongside our team and maintaining direct relationships with our clients, architects and consultants throughout the build.
Remaining close to the build gives us a detailed understanding of each project, allows us to respond quickly when challenges arise and provides continuity from the earliest stages of construction through to handover.

Built by our people.
Our foundations are in carpentry and we’re proud to keep the trade at the heart of ISK.
We directly employ our own carpentry team, creating continuity between projects and giving us greater control over the workmanship and standards delivered on site.
That experience is carried across every project, with knowledge shared within the team and a consistent understanding of the level of detail and finish we expect.
Alongside our own team, we’ve developed a trusted network of specialist trades, contractors and consultants who share our commitment to precision, communication and the finished result.
